Portfolio

Here is some of my work. I have included my graphic design projects on this page.

Wonder Foods Packaging

I was tasked to design the packaging of five items for Wonder Foods, an affordable grocery brand. Wonder Foods sells mostly generic food items, but also some exclusive items, such as sunflower butter. This low-end brand is known for making alternatives of staple products for people with allergies, since these products aren’t always so easy to come by among low-end brands.

The blue sky background with puffy clouds highlights the wonders of each product – that they are made with simple ingredients, are affordable, and sometimes allergen-friendly.

Gulf Coast Solitary Project Postcards

I was tasked to design a series of three postcards for the organization Gulf Coast Solitary Project, or GCSP for short. They are named after the Gulf Coast Solitary bee, an endangered species.

The postcards are sent out at different times of the year, such as Valentine’s Day and the beginning of spring. Each postcard asks for recipients to make a donation to win various GCSP items and shares info about pollinators.

Jess Tennant Book Series Redesign

I was tasked to redesign the covers of a book series. I went for a painterly design for each of the covers, with a picture that appears to be paint onto a canvas. The Jess Tennant series contains three books.

The Painted Turtle Brochure

The Painted Turtle is a summer camp for children and teens with medical disabilities. I was tasked to design their latest brochure, in which the client asks for donations to help rebuild part of the camp that was burned from a wildfire. I made the illustrations colorful and cheery, at the client’s request.

The Craft Zone Email Newsletters

The Craft Zone, an art supplies store, sends out newsletters to subscribers each month. The newsletters contain articles that give readers ideas on crafts to make with various items, such as bottle caps. I designed newsletters that will come out at the beginning of spring, summer, and winter. I chose a font with a painted look to fit in with the artsy theme of The Craft Zone’s newsletters.

Buzz Worthy Gardens Conference

Buzz Worthy Gardens is a conference that teaches people how to maintain gardens in environmentally-friendly ways. People also learn about pollinators, such as the honeybee (the conference mascot). For the conference, I designed the logo, program, t-shirts, a flyer, a print advertisement, and a tote bag design.

The Picnic and Outdoor Gathering Cookbook

Harmony Brown, an award-winning cook who has starred in a series of vlogs, needed a designer for her latest cookbook, The Picnic and Outdoor Gathering Cookbook. I designed the front and back covers, the contents page, and the layout for each recipe page. I went with a bright red and yellow for the color scheme since the client wanted cheery colors, and red and yellow are often associated with food.

Eco Feet Direct Mailer

I designed the latest direct mailer for Eco Feet, a brand of shoes made with recycled materials. The client wanted a playful and cheery design, so I included a photo of a person wearing their shoes on the beach, with a smiley face drawn in the sand. I also illustrated the heart and recycle symbol with a hand drawn look, to give the mailer an informal feel; this is how the client wants to present themselves.

Case Study: Fizz N’ Bliss

Below is a PDF presentation of a case study I did for Fizz N’ Bliss, a soda business that operates from a food truck. Fizz N’ Bliss was originally named Sodasational; this case study documents the rebranding process I did for the business.
